James is a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution & Employment Department at Wallace Robinson & Morgan, specialising in a wide range of civil litigation and employment matters. His practice areas include boundary disputes, contentious probate claims, consumer rights claims, debt recovery, TOLATA (Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act) disputes, and advising on settlement agreements.
James understands the emotional and financial pressures of civil litigation and employment disputes. Whether navigating litigation or negotiating settlements, he aims to make the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible, ensuring the best possible outcome for each client.
James joined the firm in April 2022 as a paralegal in the Developments Team, where he gained valuable insight into property law. In April 2023, he began his two-year training contract, continuing to build his experience in the Developments Team while also gaining exposure to the Wills & Probate and Dispute Resolution & Employment departments. His experience in property law and private client matters has provided a solid foundation for handling property disputes and contentious probate claims. James qualified as a solicitor in April 2025, specialising in Dispute Resolution and Employment Law.
Prior to joining the firm, James earned a 2:1 in Law (LLB (Hons)) from Nottingham Trent University and achieved a commendation in his Legal Practice Course (LPC) and LLM in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law in Birmingham.
Outside of work, James enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports, particularly football. A lifelong supporter of Liverpool FC, he enjoys following their matches and the team’s progress. He plays hockey for his local club, having represented Warwickshire at a younger age. When time (and patience) allows, he enjoys playing golf. In addition to his sporting interests, James spends time socialising with friends and family.
