Commercial Property Solicitor 10+ years PQE based in Solihull

Our commercial property team is expanding and we would love to welcome new members to the team looking to for career progression and development gaining experience in every aspect of commercial property law. We pride ourselves on our reputation which sees clients returning again and again for the personal and independent advice that we have become known for.

We are looking for someone who thrives in an environment that is pro-active and prefers a ‘hands off’ management approach where you can work independently but importantly seek support and advice when you require it.

Because of our size, we are uniquely placed to provide the opportunity to work on many different and complex matters to develop professionally and also allow the flexibility to develop skills in other areas of law as workloads may allow.

A role within our Commercial Property team will include (but not be restricted to) the following:

  • Acting for both Landlord and Tenant in all Lease related transactions
  • Acting in the sale and acquisition of commercial property
  • Drafting all manner of property related documents
  • Working with our company team on the property aspects in asset/share sales and acquisitions
  • Advising on Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 matters
  • Re-mortgaging commercial property
  • Acting for small scale developers in the acquisition of land and sale of new-build properties

Essential Skills

Candidates should ideally have at least 10 years PQE in property law and be confident in handling all aspects of associated transactions.

Ability to be confident working independently and efficiently as you will be dealing with high value and quite complex cases.

Excellent communication skills- we pride ourselves on the personal service provided to our clients and keeping them regularly updated throughout transactions.

Desirable Skills

Experience in both residential and commercial property is not essential but may be considered for someone looking for even more variety in workload and wishing to work across both departments.

We will consider both full-time and part-time candidates and can offer some flexible working options for the right candidate.
