Children’s Storehouse: Helping Local Families in Need

December 23, 2024

Children’s Storehouse is a local Solihull charity that provides free good quality children’s clothes to families in need. They help families escaping from domestic abuse, families who are refugees, fleeing terrible conditions in their own country, and families suffering from poverty.

They accept donations of all kinds of children’s clothing, helping parents who have children of any age be they new born or up to 18 years of age.

They operate from premises in the centre of Solihull above Cote Brasserie. They have yellow donation bins at the back of the building which are available between 9am – 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The yellow bins can be accessed at delivery area A Drury Lane, Mell Square via George Road.

This year, rather than sending Christmas cards to each other, the staff of Wallace Robinson & Morgan supported the Children’s Storehouse’s campaign to collect brand new pairs of pants which will be provided to the children that they help throughout the year. Through the generosity of our colleagues we were able to donate 261 pairs of pants!

Alison Davey, the Managing Agent of Children’s Storehouse is seen receiving the hamper of pants to put undie the Christmas tree from our very own Panta Claus, Tim Langford!
